Julian Heizmann : une carrière brève marquée par une production remarquable

Julian Heizmann a connu un passage aussi bref que productif dans la LHSBA. En moins de trois saisons au sein de l’organisation des Penguins, l’attaquant allemand a récolté 176 points en 178 matchs FARM, démontrant dès ses débuts qu’il pouvait occuper un rôle offensif important.

Sa saison recrue en 2016-17 fut immédiatement spectaculaire. Heizmann a inscrit 29 buts et ajouté 55 passes pour un total de 84 points en 76 rencontres. Cette production, combinée à 168 minutes de pénalité, présentait le portrait d’un joueur aussi intense que talentueux.

Il a confirmé cette première campagne en obtenant 26 buts et 66 points en 69 matchs la saison suivante. Lors de son unique participation aux séries éliminatoires, Heizmann avait également récolté sept points en six rencontres, dont six passes, prouvant sa capacité à demeurer productif lorsque l’enjeu augmentait.

Ses performances lui ont permis d’obtenir un rappel de cinq matchs au niveau PRO en 2017-18. De retour avec le club FARM en 2018-19, il avait ajouté 14 buts et 26 points en 33 rencontres avant d’annoncer sa retraite le 31 décembre 2018.

Julian Heizmann se retire avec une moyenne presque parfaite d’un point par match au niveau FARM. Sa saison de 84 points, ses 69 buts et son intensité demeurent les principaux repères d’une carrière courte, mais assurément marquante dans l’organisation des Penguins.
