C'est lors de son passage avec les Sabres qu'Anthony Stewart s'est véritablement établi comme une force dans la ligue. Reconnu pour sa force (ST 82), sa durabilité (DU 82) et son endurance (EN 83), il était un joueur difficile à affronter.
