	Après avoir fait ses classes comme joueur de soutien au niveau "PRO" avec les Oilers, c'est son arrivée dans l'organisation des Maple Leafs qui a changé sa trajectoire. Assigné aux Marlies, il a trouvé ses repères et a connu une saison 2012-13 solide, s'établissant comme un joueur fiable dans la ligue "Farm".
