			La carrière d'Andrew Joudrey est l'une des plus singulières et des plus déroutantes de l'histoire récente de la LHSBA. Son parcours est moins défini par ses performances sur la glace que par un événement transactionnel qui continue de soulever des questions : la signature d'un contrat colossal qui semblait en totale contradiction avec son statut de joueur.

			Sur la glace, Andrew Joudrey était un joueur de rôle durable et persévérant. Au cours de sa carrière, il a disputé 62 matchs au niveau professionnel avec quatre équipes différentes, sans toutefois parvenir à inscrire de point. C'est au niveau farm qu'il a le plus joué, amassant 24 points en 102 rencontres. Le point culminant de sa carrière sur la glace fut sans doute sa dernière saison, où il a connu une poussée productive en séries éliminatoires avec le club-école des Devils, récoltant 4 points en 7 matchs.

			Cependant, l'événement marquant de sa carrière est survenu le 5 janvier 2013. Ce jour-là, à la surprise générale, les Stars lui ont accordé un contrat monumental de 7 millions de dollars. Cette décision reste une énigme, considérant le rôle de soutien qu'il occupait. L'expérience fut de courte durée, puisqu'il a été libéré quelques mois plus tard après n'avoir joué qu'un seul match pour l'équipe.

			Malgré cet épisode étrange, Joudrey a poursuivi sa carrière avec professionnalisme, signant un contrat de plusieurs années avec les Sénateurs et terminant son parcours sur une bonne note en séries. Il se retire en laissant l'image d'un joueur résilient, mais dont la carrière restera à jamais associée à l'un des contrats les plus mystérieux jamais signés.
