	~~Le gardien de but vétéran Yann Danis a officiellement annoncé sa retraite, mettant un terme~~ à ~~une carrière de guerrier menée principalement~~ dans ~~les circuits de développement de~~ la LHSBA. ~~Acquis par les Hurricanes en fin~~ de ~~parcours~~, ~~Danis laissera~~ le ~~souvenir d'un~~ gardien ~~de but travaillant~~ et ~~respecté, qui fut un pilier pour plusieurs clubs-écoles~~ au ~~fil des ans~~.		Yves Martel met fin à son parcours dans la LHSBA après un passage aussi bref que honnête chez les Islanders. Recruté au printemps 2022 (contrat de 3 ans à 900 000 $, option No Trade), le gardien au gabarit intéressant (SZ 78) et au potentiel noté 85 n’aura finalement disputé qu’une seule campagne officielle avant d’annoncer sa retraite le 23 mai 2024.

	~~La carrière de Danis a véritablement pris son envol avec les '''Barons'''~~, le ~~club~~-~~école pour lequel il a été un véritable cheval~~ de ~~bataille de 2011~~ à ~~2014~~. ~~Jouant plus de 55 matchs à deux reprises, il était la pierre angulaire de l'équipe, la menant~~ en séries ~~éliminatoires à trois occasions. Ses performances solides ont fait~~ de ~~lui un nom fiable dans~~ les ~~ligues "Farm"~~.		En 2022-23, Martel découvre le circuit au niveau FARM : 4 matchs, fiche 1-3-0, 238 minutes, moyenne de 5,80 et %EFF .869 face à 152 tirs. Zéro apparition en séries, puis une saison 2023-24 blanche qui scelle le destin d’un projet de portier rattrapé par les circonstances plus que par le talent.

	~~Son parcours a ensuite été celui d'~~un ~~véritable nomade du hockey~~ professionnel~~. Après avoir été échangé des Oilers aux Ducks en 2014~~, ~~il a eu un bref aperçu~~ du ~~niveau "PRO", ne jouant qu'un seul match~~. Son ~~passage dans l'organisation des Ducks a aussi été marqué par une suspension~~ de ~~10 matchs en 2015, un rare écart dans une carrière autrement discrète. Il a ensuite poursuivi son chemin avec les '''Gulls'''~~, ~~les '''Roadrunners''' et même un très bref séjour avec les '''Checkers'''~~, ~~prouvant sa valeur en tant que gardien expérimenté~~ pour ~~encadrer les jeunes espoirs~~.		On retiendra un professionnel appliqué, apprécié pour son éthique et sa disponibilité à l’entraînement, capable de donner du volume quand l’organisation en avait besoin. Son profil laissait entrevoir de belles choses — lecture correcte, réactivité solide, potentiel élevé — mais l’occasion ne s’est jamais vraiment présentée pour s’installer durablement.

	~~En 2017, signe du respect qu'il commandait à travers la ligue, il signe~~ un ~~contrat~~ de 2,4 millions de dollars sur deux ans avec les Coyotes. Sa carrière s'est finalement conclue après une dernière transaction l'envoyant aux Hurricanes en février 2018 en retour d'une somme d'argent. C'est avec cette organisation qu'il a décidé de ranger son ~~équipement pour~~ de ~~bon en mai 2018~~.		La LHSBA salue un gardien de devoir qui aura tenu son rôle sans faire de bruit. 	~~Au final~~, ~~bien que ses apparitions au niveau professionnel se comptent sur les doigts d'une main~~, la ~~carrière de Yann Danis est une leçon de persévérance. Avec près de 280 matchs en saison régulière dans les clubs-écoles, il incarne la figure~~ du ~~joueur essentiel, mais souvent dans l'ombre, sans qui le hockey professionnel ne pourrait exister~~.

Le gardien de but vétéran Yann Danis a officiellement annoncé sa retraite, mettant un terme à une carrière de guerrier menée principalement dans les circuits de développement de la LHSBA. Acquis par les Hurricanes en fin de parcours, Danis laissera le souvenir d'un gardien de but travaillant et respecté, qui fut un pilier pour plusieurs clubs-écoles au fil des ans.

La carrière de Danis a véritablement pris son envol avec les '''Barons''', le club-école pour lequel il a été un véritable cheval de bataille de 2011 à 2014. Jouant plus de 55 matchs à deux reprises, il était la pierre angulaire de l'équipe, la menant en séries éliminatoires à trois occasions. Ses performances solides ont fait de lui un nom fiable dans les ligues "Farm".

Son parcours a ensuite été celui d'un véritable nomade du hockey professionnel. Après avoir été échangé des Oilers aux Ducks en 2014, il a eu un bref aperçu du niveau "PRO", ne jouant qu'un seul match. Son passage dans l'organisation des Ducks a aussi été marqué par une suspension de 10 matchs en 2015, un rare écart dans une carrière autrement discrète. Il a ensuite poursuivi son chemin avec les '''Gulls''', les '''Roadrunners''' et même un très bref séjour avec les '''Checkers''', prouvant sa valeur en tant que gardien expérimenté pour encadrer les jeunes espoirs.

En 2017, signe du respect qu'il commandait à travers la ligue, il signe un contrat de 2,4 millions de dollars sur deux ans avec les Coyotes. Sa carrière s'est finalement conclue après une dernière transaction l'envoyant aux Hurricanes en février 2018 en retour d'une somme d'argent. C'est avec cette organisation qu'il a décidé de ranger son équipement pour de bon en mai 2018.

Au final, bien que ses apparitions au niveau professionnel se comptent sur les doigts d'une main, la carrière de Yann Danis est une leçon de persévérance. Avec près de 280 matchs en saison régulière dans les clubs-écoles, il incarne la figure du joueur essentiel, mais souvent dans l'ombre, sans qui le hockey professionnel ne pourrait exister.
